A random selection of clean products that I have used up and loved over the past few months!
I have be stashing away my empty containers of my most reached for and loved product in the past few months. I love seeing these types of posts from others because it means the actually used the products and can give a full, honest review! Of course I have quite a bit of Beautycounter in the mix because, well, I love the performance and safety of the products! So without further adieu–here they are!
From left to right–kinda–
- Beautycounter’s Baby Balm: this stuff is magical. Think of it as a better alternative to Vaseline. It is great for rough, dry patches like elbows, knees, cuticles etc. Our 6 year old slathers it on her hands and we put socks on them in the winter. We are a family of bloody noses (so dry here in the winter!) and every.single.night we put a little on a cotton swab and swab the inside of our little’s nose to prevent crusty, itchy boogers (and little fingers picking them)! A little goes a looooong way so the tube lasts for-ever!
- Beautycounter’s Clean Deo: I’m telling you, this is the best safer/natural deodorant I have tried and I have tried them alllll. Clean Deo works great, smells ah-mazing (Rose is currently my favorite), doesn’t irritate my pits, doesn’t leave a gross residue in my shirts and is refillable!
- Beautycounter’s Countercontrol Cleanser: This is the cleanser is one of my all time favorites and what I use in the shower. It has jojoba beads in it for some gentle exfoliation and my skin feels squeaky clean after I use it!
- Beautycounter Countertime Eye Cream: This is the cream of the crop for eye creams. Huge help for crows feet and under eye darkness! Added bonus is this little jar lasts me over a year! Lots of bang for your buck right there!
- Goop Salt Scrub Shampoo: ok this stuff is just amazing! Nothing like I have ever used before– the texture is whipped yet it has Himalayan sea salt in it so it’s semi-gritty. It helps remove build up from your scalp and suds up amazingly well! Not to mention it smells so.darn.good! I originally received this little mini as a gift and immediately purchased the full size. I use it 1-2 times a week and the large jar will last forever!
- Beautycounter All Bright C Serum: If you are looking for the best vitamin c serum, this is the best out there! Two forms of stable vitamin c for ultimate brightening. This is in my top 5 products and I never go without having a backup on hand!
- Beautycounter Sheer Genius in Pearl: Lovingly called “Pearly Girl” at our house. Basically the fanciest, prettiest lip balm out there! It leaves just a hint of sheer shimmer and is super hydrating. Fun fact: I actually use this on all of my Brides to hydrate their lips prior to adding any lipstick. It’s really freaking good!
- Beautycounter Cleansing Balm: Another product I will never go without and have one as backup in my cabinet. This is the Swiss Army Knife of skincare. Makeup remover, cleanser, hydrating mask, dry cuticle/elbow/heel treatment, excellent on wind/sunburn and the list goes on! It is great on every skin type and is a solid so makes traveling with it a breeze! It is the reason I joined Beautycounter and is still my favorite product 6 years later!
- Tom’s Toothpaste: I have struggled with severe canker sores for years. YEARS! My mom is a Nurse Practitioner and she has been trying to figure out why and finally came across an article that mentioned that the foaming agent found in most traditional toothpastes could contribute. She read that Tom’s Toothpaste doesn’t include this agent and I switched…literally no issues since. mind.blown. I was recently having some sensitivity issues and switched to the sensitivity version and liked it! I don’t think I will get it until I have issues again but my gosh I will be using Tom’s Toothpaste moving forward!
- Beautycounter Skin Twin Foundation: As a makeup lover and professional makeup artist–this stuff is amazing. The coverage is buildable but feels so lightweight, I cannot get over it! It has incredible skin care benefits as it is packed full of hyaluronic acid which helps to plump the skin immediately and over time! It wears beautifully throughout the day and does not crease or build up in places. My favorite way to apply it is with this brush.
- Beautycounter Countertime Hydrating Essence: okay I thought this stuff was sooo boojee and completely a non-essential. Boy was I wrong! This essence aka toner is filled with retnatural complex and is basically like vitamins and minerals for your face. Believe me, it’s heavenly and this shaker has lasted me over a year with daily use!
- Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel: I call this gem the magic eraser for your face! Top 5 favorite products for me– helps with hyper pigmentation, evening skin tone, reducing pore size the whole shebang! I use this almost every single night. (FYI it is pictured in the old packaging)
- Beautycounter Body Butter: Thick and lucious body butter that isn’t greasy is where it is at. This is a little tub from holiday last year but we have a citrus mimosa scented version all year long!
- Primally Pure Dry Shampoo: I have been using this dry shampoo for years and it is the best I have found! I like the one for darker locks since my hair is well, darker. You can use this link to get 10% off your order!
- Dr. Bronner’s Shave Soap: My friend, Sam, hooked me up with this stuff and I realllly like it! It lathers really well (in a loofa) and gives a nice smooth shave without drying out my skin!
- Beautycounter Counterman Body Wash: Yes, I use a men’s body wash on the reg. Hear me out–this stuff smells ah-mazing and not manly. Just crisp, and fresh–I totally dig it! It also has activated charcoal which helps remove impurities (aka the summer funk) leaving you smelling so fresh and so clean (clean).
- Beautycounter Body Lotion: a tried and true favorite at our house. Simple, gets the job done without being greasy!
