I am so excited to share a few ideas for helping the Easter Bunny fill up your kiddos baskets this year!
As a “seasoned” mom of over 6 years now (Lord knows I am still no expert) I have found that it is best to gift your kids with things that they will actually use and won’t end up frustrating me and, in turn, being tossed out into the trash the next week. I loathe the waste! So, for Easter baskets I like to focus on things they will actually use, need and that I normally wouldn’t give them aka. Hatchimals and these Playfoam Pals I found 😉 They are going to FLIP!
So first up–take a gander at what your kiddos would need going into spring and summer– new shoes/sandals, swimsuits, sunscreen, stainless steel water bottles, spring jackets, refresh of bubbles, chalk, sunglasses and sand toys! There are SO many options and spoiler alert– you are going to buy these things for them anyway, why not save some chaaang and tuck them in their Easter baskets!?
Next, as you know, our family tries to cut out junky ingredients in our products and that includes food as much as we can. I have found a few “cleaner” candy (yes, I know, it’s STILL sugar) candy brands that we have tried and enjoyed! They have less of the dyes and junk that we try to avoid, are super cute and taste great!
This year I FINALLY got my hands on the cutest Easter baskets I have been eyeing for years! They are currently sold out right now but these are an adorable option as well. I like the big basket concept since we aren’t filling them solely with candy!
Here is a peek at our girls (3.5 and 6.5 years old) Easter baskets this year! I think they turned out so cute and I am THRILLED that they will be able to use every single thing in them and have a couple of cute surprises that I normally wouldn’t buy for them! Some of the items I’m including in our baskets this year aren’t in the picture because they are still in transit–I wanted to post this ASAP so you have a little more time to shop with these ideas! Added bonus–almost all of them are from Target and Amazon so you should be able to get them FAST!
SourMelon Bites // Peach Rings // Coconut Chocolate Bites // Grass // Toddler Sandals // Girls Sandals // Hatchimals // Sidewalk Chalk // Sand Toys // Bubbles // Woah Dough // How the Crayons Saved the Unicorn // Playfoam Pals // Scissors Skills Book // Sunscreen Stick // Lip Jellies // Stainless Waterbottle // Bubbles // Beanie Boo Bunny //
These adorable sensory kits just arrived at our door and I cannot wait for the girls to play with them! I have been eying them for a few years (yes, years!) now and finally pulled the trigger for Easter! I can’t wait to squeeze them into their baskets–the girls are going to be obsessed!
What are your favorite things to include in Easter baskets!? I would love to hear and be able to share with others!
Happy Spring and early Easter!
